Cousins, is the theme for today. A nonsense poem was all my crazy brain could think up today. Actually I do not have dozens of cousins!
Of cousins
I've got dozens.
Some long
that like a song,
Some short
that love a sport.
Most are older
and bolder,
Some are younger
and hunger
for cake and for tea.
And we all agree
that cake and tea
will fill us with glee.
Thus we congregate
and all brew and bake
Until tea and cake
Are ready for all
Then we have a ball.

Next Mondays topic: Avocados
I am smiling at your poem, and wishing that I had met my cousins. I was in my fifties before I knew I had any and they live on a different continent.
SvarSletHaving extended family living near by is a blessing. I feel sad for you.
SvarSletTak skal du have!
SletMy children and grandchildren have many cousins. I had two and have no idea if they still live, but suspect not.
SvarSletI had many cousins, more than a dozen ;) But many of them were much older than me.
SletWhat a fun, clever rhyme! I have a few cousins, and we only see each other rarely, mostly at weddings and funerals.
