A - Z Challenge 2025 ~ Roadtrip

In my reflections post I wrote: And later in May I'll visit and read the continuing stories of J Lenni Dorner and Harvey Heilbrunn.

I thought I had revisited all the interesting blogs on my copy of the Master list. But obviously my method of marking blogs was faulty.

Now gong through the Reflections post and comparing to my copy of the master list, I find a lot of blogs, I had decided to revisit later on, marked in my "no reason for revisit colour"

I list them here. I do not think I got them all, it's in no particular order, and will be expanded as I clean up my list:

Mainely Write - A watercolour and a poem a day. And funny reflections.
Wendy's Waffle - Waffles of course and countries of the day.
Draconic Ramblings - Where the WP vs. Blogger cold war thing had confounded me, and I did not find the A-Z until now.
Just call me Froggi - I was attracted by the name; after owls, frogs are one of my favourite animals. But I had the bad luck of stumbling onto one of the bleak posts, on C for Cancer, and left post haste. I should not have done so, and will return.

To ease the visiting of my A-Z Challenge posts, here's a list of all of them.

My theme was quite simple. Each day I solved the NYT Wordle of the day, using a starter word beginning with the letter of the day.

And as the alternative badge, supplied by Lissa suggested growing things, I chose plant related starter words if at all possible

Mostly I added a few words about my chosen starter word. And maybe a bit on Wordle solving.

  1. Given how busy April is for those playing (or reading) A-Z, a follow up trip sounds like a good idea.

    1. Yes, I do agree. I have thought quite a bit over this challenge, and found that April actually is a bad choice. It's often Easter month, Spring is around - at least for us northeneres - with busy times in fields and gardens, April is also National Poetry Month in USA ...
If I had my way, we moved A-Z to February, which is a short, boring, and "unoccupied" month. Then we had March for catching up. I should maybe write this on the A-Z blog ;)

  2. Your a-z list of words are quite interesting but probably not that effective for playing Wordle.

Now I read your post, I'm thinking I should join the road trip. I might have dismissed some blogs a bit too hasty. Of course, I might have to make a badge for this. Enjoy your road trip.

    Have a lovely.

    1. Thank you, those words were not always good for starter words, but some - surprisingly were.

I'm happy to inspire you to do the roadtrip as well. A badge would be very welcome :)

  3. It's an interesting idea, moving it to February.

Your Wordle solving was interesting to watch.

    1. I have no hope they're going to do it. But as my mom said - if the worst that can happen is that they say no, what do you loose by asking?
