As the alternative badge, as supplied by Lissa seems to suggest growing things I'll prefer those as starter words, and if at all possible, I'll avoid words containing the same letter more than once.
I'll maybe add a few words about my chosen starter word if fancy takes me, else I'll just post the solution - or not in the case that I did not solve it.
T is for Thyme. Thyme grows in my garden in great abundance, and I just planted another one, as the five plants we had, were just no enough to see us through the winter. A runner-up was Tulip. These pretty flowers are a great delight right now.
Although I love THYME, it was not the best of starter words. But I made it. Phew!
I really love your theme concept. I grow pots of herbs on my kitchen window sill and thyme is a favorite. But I love tulips - they're such cheery welcomers of Spring.
SvarSletThank you. So far my theme has lived up to my expectations of easy, yet challenging.
SletI'm sure that you, as a logophile, would be very good at Wordle.
Well done. Again. I also love thyme - and tulips.
SvarSletIt was a tough choice. Thanks.
SletWell done. One of my daughters has a Thyme lawn and walking on it smells lovely.
SvarSletA thyme lawn! Sounds luxuriously delicious ... It must be a species of thyme made for that purpse, mine would not be pleasant to walk on. I have to look this up. Thanks.
SletIt smells like apples.
SletYou solved it just in, dare we say it, thyme! I'm very much enjoying your A to Z.
SvarSlet:D Thanks on both accounts.
