It seems Resolve is one of those words that can mean almost anything but football as an old teacher of ours once put it. After having read my poem, you can see what I copied from Merriam-Webster's online dictionary, and see if it fits the bill. I have given my Resolves down below 🌝 🌝
I resolve not to resolve come summer and heat.
I resolve not to resolve when solutions sound neat.
I resolve not to resolve sheet music or a fret.
I resolve not to resolve quite anything yet.
My resolve is to meet any day new and fresh.
To resolve not a thing till it has stood its test.
With great resolve I stand up to the year '21
May it resolve to be better than the one that is gone…
And next Mondays theme: SPAGHETTI!

SvarSletAn excellent poem, Charlotte - why do we put ourselves through this Resolves charade every year - it almost always ends up in disappointment at failing to keep our promises. I hope you had a good Christmas and wish you and your family all the best for a good 2021.
SvarSletYours is the best resolve of all!
SvarSletYes, here's to a much better new year!
You did very well! Sometimes the best thing is to stand up and take each day as it comes.
