This meme was started by Delores a long time ago. Troubles led
her to bow out, but the meme was too much fun to let go, and
now Words for Wednesday is provided by a number of people and has become a movable feast. With Elephant's Child as our coordinator.
Essentially the aim of this meme is to encourage us to write. Each
week we are given some prompts. These prompts can be words, phrases,
music or images.
What we do with those prompts is up to us: a short story, prose, a song, a poem, or treating them with ignore...
We can use some or all of the prompts, and mixing and matching is encouraged.
Some of us put our creation in comments on the post, and others post on their own blog. This fun meme includes cheering on the other participants.
And the more the merrier
goes here as well, so if you are posting on your own blog then please
tell us in the comments, so that all other participants, can come along
and applaud.

Sorry. Due warning I am lurching into the political this week.
SvarSletLeadership? I wish. Almost every nation is fighting very similar battles. They are looking for leaders who are role models, leaders who will provide guidance in the days/weeks/months to come. Their citizens are singing the same song. They are singing it loudly, but for all the attention that is paid they might just as well be singing piano or indeed pianissimo.
Their song which remains unanswered. So many leaders stick to their guns (sometimes literally), essentially saying ‘my way or the highway’.
We are all owners of this planet and we all have a responsibility to it. Perhaps, just perhaps, if a group of concerned citizens was to settle down with a cup of tea and discuss the matter things would improve. Those discussions will likely include arguments but so much is at stake that it is worth a try. And, if an answers (or answers) can be found heartfelt thanks will be heard…
Well said. Discussion aimed at solving problems by listening to all ideas and putting the best of them to use is the only way, and our leaders don't want to do that, at least not here.
SletExcellent way to use the words EC. If only politicians were more ready to sit and discuss over cups of tea, instead of that stupid Question Time where all they do is shout each other down.
SletOh yes, we need more tea-drinking leaders!
SletDear Sue, I think I gave you the fitting answer!
Slet;-)
Thank you so much, the words were used to tell the rest of the story.
SvarSletI'll be rigth over
SletI have sentences roaming around in my brain, but none fit together yet. They will by Friday when I put a story on my blog.
SvarSletOhh,sounds enticing.
SletLeadership does not need guidance. Being owner of our nation, we are playing the piano on the political highway of arguments.
SvarSletTherefore, take this warning: You may sing rebel songs and songs of freedom, but don't even think of a role reversal. It's not your cup of tea. Thanks.
Short and to the point.
SletSean Jeating. Thank you.
SletIndeed.
SletWarning: the argument about the guidance role of politicians is not my cup of tea, thanks.
SvarSletWednesday Words. I think I deleted previous posting. Let me know if spam is being a problem.
SvarSletWords rumble to tell
Of a Nation, a song sung and then
Whispered down a dark highway of history.
Like black keys on a piano,
Their role fades with age.
Keys are owners of music,
Silence is their warning.
Yes, spam is a problem. I'm letting comments out of the 'spam box' several times a week. Your comment was not there, so yes, you deleted it.
SletThanks for taking you time to write again!
