Just to show that mushrooms come in many shapes. They are not toadstools all of them. I snapped these two last Sunday.

- The black one is Horn of plenty, a delicious mushroom. The other is an inedible but decorative Coral fungus
|
|
- Honey fungi, they remind me that the mushroom season is ending soon.

The tapered wooden mushroom had its stirpe painted a whitish pink, the green is supposed to look like lichen.

- One of the Owlets argued that pink was not a mushroomy colour ...
|
MotherOwl picked this one on her next bike ride.
|
- Samme farve?
- Same colour or not?
|
Den røde træsvamp fik endelig sine prikker.
The original wooden mushroom finally got its spots.
