God surely has a sense of humour. Jennifer Fulwiler's saint generator is a proof of this. As always MotherOwl choose two saints. The second was, once again St. Paul Miki, get on with that Japanese already MotherOwl!.
The first one was St. Conrad of Piacenza. Maybe you never heard of him before, but MotherOwl knows him well. Many years ago, we were in Sicily. MotherOwl, the Writer, the Walrus and the 3 oldest Owlets. The others were not born yet.We "met" Saint Corrado as his Italian name is, all over the place, and MotherOwl hurt herself by getting up from tying a shoelace, banging her head against a statue of ... you guessed it, St. Corrado. One of the smaller Owlets has Conrad as his second name. And of course he was baptized by an Italian priest pronouncing his name "Corrado".
