January 8 question - Describe someone you admired when you were a child. Did your opinion of that person change when you grew up?

SvarSletThank you, I'll try to be more lenient. This last year has been rough, and those challenges are some of what keep me sane. Thus it buggers me to miss them.
SletSomeone I admired was my grade seven teacher and later a high school teacher with the same name though they weren't related. Maybe they were, both had black hair and blue eyes. Both were very decent people. Good people. They had their knowledge of subjects and knew how to teach so that it was interesting to the students.
SvarSletThose teachers sound worthy of admiration, and my admiration for the (admittedly few) really good teachers I've had has not lessened over time, augmented would be more apt - we were an unruly bunch back then.

SvarSletI can't think of anyone I admired back as a child who wouldn't still be considered a good and admirable person.
I can, because I was young, innocent and gullible. But most have stood the test of time.
