Sunday Selections :: April ~ Missing Green

The colour for April is Missing Green.

I have been a bit productive this week but I am not sure I caught this colour very often. Let's have a look.

We tried Coca-cola Oreos. We're not convinced.

We met these two wax monsters:

Some of the wax monsters ended up in these coffee soaps:

The rest were made into these small ones to be stored for coming projects.

The coffee soap still in the mould - Blogger mixing up the order of the photos.

We saw a small tuft of moss groving on a roof tile - surely the ends are Missing Green.

And finally a wagtail

  1. How I wish that Blogger didn't know best about the order of photos. Your coffee soap looks and no doubt smells amazing. I am intrigued with Missing Green. I do miss it when it is not there. Badly.

    1. I did not have the energy to fight the HTML code to make the order right - which is what I normally do - or add the photos one by one.
I do miss green as well ;)

    2. I don't use HTML, I don't even understand it. I just type the words I need on the "new post" page and have no trouble.

    3. After the update or renewal or whateber you may call it on Blogger, I have had endless problems making my posts look how I like them to look instead of how Blogger would like. Double line spacing, pictures all over the place only not where I'd like them to go, mini-fonds in captions on photos ... you name it, I've got it ;)
It might be my theme, it migth be my old PC, it might just be me. The only solution I have found to work is learning enough HTML to understand what to delete and what to copy/paste where to make it look the way I want it. Mostly I'm copy/pasting codes ;) It's not really difficult, only time consuming.

  2. Missing green is not something that I would paint my house with, inside or outside, but it is definitely an amazing colour in nature and I'm so glad it exists.
Your little moss tuft reminds me of the moss that grew in the crevice of a window of my car last summer. Nature can survive in strange places.

Love that photo of the wagtail; I've not heard of that kind of bird before. And no wonder; in checking Wikipedia, it is not present in our part of the world!

    1. Moss and lichen can - and do - grow in the most extraordinary places.
Yes it actually seems wagtails live almost anywhere but in your place ;)

    1. Thanks, I do not think the looks are ... something to brag about, but it the best soap ever - I wish I could attach some to an e-mail and send you ;)
