As the alternative badge, as supplied by Lissa seems to suggest growing things I'll prefer those as starter words, and if at all possible, I'll avoid words containing the same letter more than once.
I'll maybe add a few words about my chosen starter word if fancy takes me, else I'll just post the solution - or not in the case that I did not solve it.
R is for Rowan. One of the beautifully flowering trees right now.
Today's Wordle solved in 4 tries - pure inspration - earning me a Splendid!
Well done. You have such an agile mind.
SvarSletHappy Easter.

Thank you for visiting. Wordle is addictive!
SletNicely done! This one almost flummoxed me.
SvarSletAs for a hypograt, as you were asking on my blog, it's one of those things where you wouldn't be grateful for it on the surface, but if you look around, or under, or behind it, it turns out at least something of it was a good thing after all. For example, Ms. G is not thankful the vacuum keeps stopping up, but she'd thankful it can be fixed.
Thank you for both, and now I see it: Hypo + Grat(eful).
SletIn Australia I believe a Rowan is called Mountain Ash. We also have golden ash and claret ash, both are green during spring and summer, but become golden yellow or deep red in autumn. I'll have to check what colour mountain ash becomes.
SvarSletYes that's the one. It seems to grow everywhere. Here it's called røn, and in Latin Sorbus - it is the natural source of sorbitol, the (normally artificial) sweetener ;)
