A Question:
- Is anybody ever using the colour codes for the colour of the month?
A service announcement:
- Due to strange happenings in the interweb, my comments on most blogs, including my own, seem to disappear in thin air between my pressing Enter and their publishing.
I try to copy/paste before pressing Enter, mostly it looks fine in my end, but when I return - hours or even days later - the comment plain is not there any more.
This is a major P.I.T.A, not least because it makes me seem discourteous, not commenting on any of your blogs.
And I looked. Nothing in the spam-comment place either.
That is very strange Charlotte, I did get your comment on my blog, thank you. I hope you are getting mine on yours 👀

I do get your comments. My comments diappearing seems totally random, Blogger and WP blogs alike, with and without moderation, no pattern at all. I hope it's an update issue, as most everything has updated in the last 24 hours.
SletDisappearing comments is just odd. I guess there's nothing to do about it but sometimes I think bloggers who moderate their comments forget to accept/publish comments but if it happens to your own blog, well, that's just extra odd.
SvarSletHave you try to sign in and then sign out of google and blogger or even turn off wifi and then turn it back on? I find sometimes network or wifi connections can cause a glitch so your comment may have disappear into some unlucky void. I really don't know if this does anything but wifi around here, during the heat, are having issues.
Have a lovely day.
It is extra odd, and no pattern I can detect - also a bit hard, as it happens "with delay". It seems t work, I see the comment publish, leave the blog, and when next I return, the comment is not there.
SletOur Wi-Fi was turned off by a thunderstorm recently ;) It did not help. My comments are also disappearing on WP blogs, so I do not think it's a Blogger issue.
I hope that with the lower temperatures from today, or maybe the updates, this problem will pass.
taken down and republished - too many typos.
I forgot to answer the other query - I don't actually use the color codes for color of the month even when I use it with the wfw prompts but it's good info in case I want to use that color for something else.
SvarSletHave a lovely day.
Thank you, I aasked because I wanted to use the code for something else, and noticed an error in this month's RGB code. I wrote 71 for 21, now corrected.
SletSometimes I will go back and find my comments have vanished. Not all the time, just once in a while. Weird!
SvarSletI'm not alone! Thanks.
SletNo, I'm not sure how to use the numbers.
SvarSletAs for the comments, I'm not sure what to say, it has happened to me before and I don't know what to do about it. I do not see any comments from you in my spam folder.
That it happens to you as well, makes me relax a bit more. Only it's been happening a lot lately. I hope the issue resolves itself.
SletI do not find anything in the spam folder either. It happens between hitting Publish and the comment "pre publishing", and the comment actually going live. Some strange bug, I hope.
I use the colours when I can if I remember, not sure what you mean by the codes. I find my comments vanish sometimes too. I check the spam folder and sometimes they are there and sometimes not.
SvarSletThe "RBG 174,21,147" or "Hex #AE1593" are the codes for Writing Pleasure Purple. If you change the colour of the lettering on you blog for instance, you can type in one of these codes to have the letter change to this specific colour. I do sometimes on my blog.
SvarSletVanishing comments seem s to be a frequent phenomenon. I'll take it easier now.
