Se her!
After casting on Minimax' self patterning socks, I've been wondering how many different colourways self patterning yarn was made in. The answer is a gazillion. But one combo caught my eye: watermelon socks!
Look at this! Scroll down a little. It might be a bit expensive for me, and I do
not lack sock (or any other) yarn.
Instead I played with making a watermelon palette. Now I know which colours to look for if ever watermelon knitting comes up again.
Uglemor,
SvarSletI have some wool in just those watermelon shades. I'd forgotten about it! It's wool but not hand dyed like the wool you linked to. Aren't the colours beautiful? I will have to hurry on with my current knitting project so I can make Gemma-Rose another cardigan using the wool. Actually, I'm starting to make some progress!
Watermelon always makes me think of summer... juice dripping down our chins on a warm day.
God bless!
Watermelons also gives me summer associations, and they're needed here. We're having a cold spell with morning temperatures around minus 8 degrees and windy, so all warm thougths are welcome.
SletYour knitting progress sounds good. I still hope you'll not have to use my frogging made easy-trick.
