The old compost pile was about to tumble, but as it was built in 1997 from old scrap wood found on the attic, it is no wonder. Saturday and Sunday were sunny, so MotherOwl asked the Writer to remowe all the compost, and spent the afternoons pulling down the old one, and putting up a new.

A neighbour had had some repairs, and was stumbling over scraps when leaving her house. The Writer cleared her yard and brought home these pallets and some timber. Then MotherOwl attacked with axe, saw and drilling machine. This is the progress until Saturday night.
