For some time now I've noticed Blogger renaming my posts.
Sometimes when I have a post open, I close it, and open another one to edit that one. And then afterwards I re-open the first one to finish my editing job there.
If I do this, my first blog post sometimes get renamed to the name of that second one ... confused? I sure am, and maybe you were too today, when my Words for Wednesday post suddenly looked like this:
I don not know why, and I do not know how to avoid this either. .

I was wondering why you titled that particular post Link-mager. Maybe you copy and paste wrong? Blogger do sometimes saved untitled post choosing words from the beginning of a post but still that doesn't explain this error. It's very odd.
SvarSletHave a lovely day.
You can see in your blog-roll that the blogpost was titled Words for Wednesday December 10, when I published it. It does not change name there however much I - or blogger - change it ;)
SletIf I had published it with no title, it would have been called: "Luscious Motel Wheelbarrow" or something like it. The first few words in any case. Not the title of a never-to-be-published post, which I opened after having published that one.
Strange how you have a different title now because I’ve just double checked my Wordpress reader and that particular post title is still showing Words for Wednesday December 10…..same as it did when I read it previously.
SvarSletAlso when I open your blog that’s the title showing on that particular post and not the ‘other one’ (Link mager)
Strange indeed
It's not so strange that it now - again - shows up with the right title. I corrected it, when I discovered that Blogger had been up to tricks again.
SletThe mystery is why Blogger seems to find it fun to mix up the blog posts and titles ;)
"Link-mager" means "Creator of Links" in Danish, and it's a page I use now and then to copy/paste links into comments. I used it today to comment on River's page with the Words for Wednesday. An doing this made Blogger mix up titles and posts.
I don't understand what it is that blogger is doing to you, because I only ever work on one post at a time. I don't use HTML or links or anything else, just open a "new post" window at the blogger post site and type what I want to write adding pictures as I go if needed. Then I schedule the publishing time and date and that's it.
SvarSletIt' just me, tryong to be smart, I think. I'm making links like this one: Words for Wednesday in my comments.
SletSometimes I just spot a mistake and correct it - it's enougn to make Blogger sometimes mess up. I think the key is opening more blogposts in one after another, and then the first one again.
To err is human, but to really foul things up requires technology.
