- This browser - that I normally use for blogging - do remember who I am, but keeps on crashing whenever I delete anything, and the Ad Blocker does not work with Windows 11.
- My other solution, Firefox, is stellar when it comes to AdBlocking and deleting. but it cannot remember who I am, forcing me to log in every single time I want to comment somewhere, or write a blog post, or ...
And I want to show off
Thursday's Wordle 1.496 2/6
🟩🟩⬜⬜⬜
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
Today’s average difficulty is 5.2 guesses out of 6, or very challenging. It was a lucky guess, but I'm happy!
Browsers, they are the oddest thing, they try to protect users with all kinds of settings and some you don't realize are turned on. I've been using Firefox and sometimes I do have to log into other Blogger blogs to comment but never every single time. Sadly, I have no solution for you but I hope the issue gets solved.
SvarSletI have been doing wordle off and on and apparently I seem to be getting worst at it. Five-letter words are hard to think up sometimes.
Have a lovely day.
It's still dumb as a log even after a totally clean re-install - sigh.
SletIs there a cookie setting somewhere which might be the cause? If you don't accept cookies, sometimes the program won't remember anything you did before, or keep you logged in. I have that with DuckDuckGo.
SvarSletThe "funny" new developement: Now I can manage my blogs, edit and write new posts in Firefox, but the moment I want to comment - also on my own blog, I have to log in - even while having the Blogger dashboard open in another tab. I do not think this is cookies, as I reset everything, and even did a "clean" re-install of Firefox.
SletI get so annoyed when my computer does things like that, thank goodness very rarely, most annoying is when I have to sign in somewhere and I don't remember the password I used originally years ago. So I try my most common ones and it doesn't recognise them! Start over.....throw my hands in the air, make coffee, start again....
SvarSletWhat worked best last time was shutting it down and walking away for the rest of the day. it behaved well after that.
Passwords! The nemesis of normal computer users!
SletI tried giving it the cold treatment too - nothing changed.
I'll just have to wait for eithe an update to fix it, or my son to get here. I'm really at wit's end and computers is his job!
