Every
day at noon a new A-Z post goes live. The theme is Echoes, finishing
touches, half done projects and endings. But I would not be MotherOwl if these
posts would not contain more than a fair share of new beginnings and
plans. T for Temperatur

In January, I began charting the temperature and mirabile dictu, I'm still at it. Here's a photo from Sunday, where I filled out the first page. Yes temperature drawing is always a day behind. The mean temperature for a day is not known before the day has ended.
I admire your discipline - and love the chart. A blogger I follow knitted an average temperature scarf, knitting one line each day. It was a thing of beauty tracing our seasons.
SvarSletI'm baffled myself. I normally forget or give up such challenges (or actually anything that requires daily attendance) after a short while. But not this chart.
SletI also had knitting, crocheting or stitching in mind, but I stayed with drawing because I wanted something easy, not time and material-consuming this time around.
I have seen such blankets and yes, they are beautiful.
It is fascinating, although i am not sure i understand exactly how it works.
SvarSletEvery day I look at the temperature from yesterday. ANd according to a scale I have made, I colour the figure of the day the relevant colous. Bluer is colder and redder is warmer. Hope I kan keep it up for a year.
SletAh, now i understand, thank you!
SletHow nifty! The only thing I can every remember charting daily is how many times my social studies teacher said "you know" each day throughout ninth grade.
SvarSletBlack and White: T for Tatooine
Do you still have those numbers?
SletAnd something's wrong with those links. Here's the right one: Tatooine
SletI'm sure the graph is around somewhere, since I can't help being a "historian." But it might take me a while to lay hands on it. I don't know what's wrong with the links, so maybe I'd better just leave them off. It's nice of you to correct them for me, though! =)
SletThe links are surely some Blogger vs. WP issue. I don't konw how to make those two collaborate.
SletHiding those old memorabilia is a very 'historian' way of doing things. I work in the same way.
I like the way you make the chart even though I don't really understand it. Are the numbers the temperatures or are they dates? This reminds me of knitting patterns.
SvarSletHave a lovely day.
Thaose are the dates. I made a chart and decided which colour for which temperature, so each day I ppaint in yesterdays temperature in the rigth colour.
SletIt took me a minute or two to work out the pattern there, but it sure is pretty.
SvarSletThe letters on top are actually a guide th the clolurs in the chart. Not the intervals, but the order of colours can be seen there.
