En gylden blomst i mit vilde hjørne :: A golden flower from my Wild corner

Gyldne løfter om mange blommer :: Golden promises - lots of prunes

En celle uden lås og hængsel, dog for en gylden skat er den et fængsel.
Det store æg vejede 104 g. og skjulte to gyldne skatte.

A box without hinges, key, or lid, Yet golden treasure inside is hid.
The big one (104 g.) hid two treasures.

At finde en orkide i skoven er næsten lige så godt som at finde guld.
Det her er Danmarks mest almindelige orkide, Skov-hullæbe. Jeg har først set den i år.

Finding an orchid while hunting for mushrooms is almost a good as finding a golden treasure.
This one is the commonest orchid of Denmark, Broad-leaved helleborine, I never saw it before.

Poetry Monday er en udfordring, hvor Diane fra On the Border er vores vært. Og nok engang kommer jeg til at undskylde til mine danske læsere, for heller ikke denne mandags stikord, Cousins, fik nogen danske rim til at dukke op i mit stakkels hoved. Et engelsk vrøvlevers var alt, der var krudt til.

 Cousins, is the theme for today. A nonsense poem was all my crazy brain could think up today. Actually I do not have dozens of cousins!

Golden Sand :: Gyldent sand

Vi var i Hundested for at se sandskulpturudstillingen. Den seneste måneds voldsomme regn har sat sine spor, men de fleste skulpturer er hele endnu.  Den kan varmt anbefales.
Temate er "Der var engang ... eventyr og myter"

We went to Hndested to see the Sandsculpture Festival. It has been raining, sometimes violently so for much of the last month this can be seen in some places, but it is still worth a visit!
The theme was: Once upon a time ... Fairy Tales and Myths.

A friendly Giant ... much of the folklore was Greenlandish, not that strange, considering that the known polar explorer Knud Rasmussen lived near Hundested, when he was not out exploring.

En venlig kæmpe. Mange af sagnene var grønlandske, ikke så sært for Knud Rasmussen boede jo udenfor Hundested, når han ikke lige var på ekspeditioner.

Indenfor i bådehuset mødte vi gamle venner og nye eventyr.

Inside the big wharf building we met old friends and new adventures.

Ham her har vist været der siden starten  --  I think he has been here ever since the very first year.

Udenfor var der en anden gylden, men ikke helt så behagelig gæst.

Outside we met another golden creature, not pleasant up close,

Vi spiste også Tempurarejer med pommes frites, begge dele gyldent, og Nordsjællands bedte is i smukt gyldne vafler. Selv min is var gylden, men jeg fik ikke taget nogen billeder.

We also ate tempura shrimps and French fried and the best ice cream of Northern Zealand in freshly baked golden cones, I even had a golden ice cream, but no photos were taken of this.

Poetry Monday :: Emojis

     I dag er temaet for Mandagsdigtet. Emojis. Ja, de der :) smiley-tingester 😉.
     I lang tid var jeg med i en udfordring, der hed Simple Daily Drawing. Men de er ikke Simple mere, så jeg er stoppet med at følge den udfordring.
     Mens jeg var en del af udfordringen, var temaet både Gnomer og Emojier, jeg er ikke rigtigt i stødet til et digt, men jeg vil gerne vise mine gnomer og emoji'er frem så her kommer de i tilfældig rækkefølge.

     For a long time I was part of a challenge called Simple Daily Drawing. But they stopped being Simple, so I stopped following that challenge.
     While I was part of the challenge, both of the themes Gnomes and Emojis came up, I'm not really in the mood for a poem, but I want to show off my gnomes and emojis so here they are in random order.

Det begynder sådan her  ~ It begins like this.

Tror I det bliver til en dromedar? For det ligner det altså

Før jeg fortsætter med dromedaren, går vi lige en tur i haven.

HaveUglen har fået nye, fine blomster  ~~  GardenOwl has had new flowers

Kiwien har nye, imponerende skud  ~~  The kiwi has new, impressive growth.

Og urtebedet har to nye uter, citronverbena og strandmalurt

And the herbal bed has two new arrivals: Lemon verbena and Sea wormwood, also known as Old woman.

Månebedet har fået en omgang Matrem i enden. Det er vist en ukrudt her i landet, men jeg synes det ligner små spejlæg, og kan rigtig godt lide dem.

The Moon bed has had some Feverfew planted at the swampy end. It is considered a weed, but I like all the flowers looking like fried eggs.

Tante T og onkel K har været på arbejde med at vande de nyplantede matremplanter

Aunt T and Uncle K has been at work, giving water to the newly planted feverfew.

Nok engang strikker jeg sokker til brug i mine japanske støvler, der er mit foretrukne sommerfodtøj.
