Chia pet - to be sung to the tune of Jailhouse Rock.
Once I had a chia pet, I lowed it so
I sowed and I watered; watched the chia grow.
And when its fur was lush and green we cut it off
And then we started over, it was fun for all!
It was my chia pet,
Oh yes my chia pet!
It was my chia pet,
My chia pet!
Then I got some children they were big and small
They went through my kitchen and began to play
What went to the floor and then broke in two

What fun little pigs they are. It took me a bit of time to fit the poem to the music, i am not very good with things like that.
SvarSletMaybe the problem is at my end - you see we have a Danish band (or had) called Shu-bi-du-a. and they translated/repurposed/maltreatd a lot of English and American tunes, making them fun to listen at but at the same time sometimes changing the tune ever so slightly. And of course it's their version of Jailhouse rock (called Fed Rock 'Fat Rock' the B-side was Tynd Blues 'Thin Blues'). So .. but the pigs are nice, I still miss mine, but they went out of production years ago and are now expensive collectors' items.

Thank you. Sorry for pesteing you. I think it was a reaction to me looking for an advent wreath while shopping, and only being able to find a winter wreath (looking just the same). We need to be not afraid to celebrate our own traditions, while giving room for Hannukah and Seker Bayram and so on.
