So many interesting blogs out there. But when it comes to love for all things fibery, especially crocheting, love of colours, seasons, yarn, teabreaks and family, none I have found beats Lucy at Attic24. She actually started me crocheting again after a break of almost 40 years.
Some days ago Lucy told of one of her favourite blogs: Planet June, where she found some pretty pumpkins. MotherOwl had to try. The stash barrel once again held the right yarn ( yes MotherOwl pleads guilty, she tops up the stash barrel now and then). So far only two pumpkins have been made. Next up is one of Lucy's striped variations.

  1. Uglemor,

I like your pumpkins! I can't remember the last thing I crocheted, but I'm certain it wasn't a pumpkin. Maybe I haven't crocheted anything since I made a blanket a few years ago.

    1. Thank you, Sue. They're quite easy to make. As I still feel like an absolute beginner crocheting, I feel like a small miracle happening when something useful or pretty comes from my crocheting.
